Description

Abstract
全球頭足類漁業漁產量在過去40年間明顯增加,其主要目標物種為外洋魷類及近岸淺水的鎖管類,且其通常在海洋生態系之營養結構扮演重要角色。臺灣周邊水域的鎖管類主要為拖網與火誘網漁船所漁獲,主要作業漁場在東北水域與澎湖水域(臺灣海峽),所捕獲物種有尖鎖管、中華鎖管、杜氏鎖管及詩博加鎖管等。目前研究顯示東北水域主要為尖鎖管,臺灣海峽則主要為中華鎖管。尖鎖管之生活史參數與洄游型態已初步瞭解,而中華鎖管之生活史參數尚不清楚,且漁業捕獲鎖管物種之組成比例仍缺科學資料。建立長期漁業作業報表資料,不僅有助於探察鎖管類資源量之空間分布型態及變動趨勢,並可瞭解其洄游與族群動態。本計畫擬解決問題有:1)瞭解海峽北部水域鎖管漁產量之變動趨勢及主要漁業組成(漁業年報);2)建立鎖管漁業漁獲努力量與資源豐度指標之時空間分布型態(漁撈日誌);3)初步分析海峽北部水域之鎖管物種組成(漁港採樣)。 <U>重要工作項目</U> 1.漁業年報資料分析 (1)由漁業年報資料,分析鎖管物種之漁業(漁具別),分布(縣市別及近海或沿岸)。 (2)分析鎖管漁產量歷年變化。 2.作業報表收集與分析 (1)選擇馬公及新竹漁港以鎖管為對象之作業漁船,委請船長填報作業日報表(logbook)。 (2)按月整理漁船填報之作業日報表資料,建立電子資料庫。 (3)分析漁船的作業動態。 (4)分析物種別漁獲量的時空間分布。 3.生物資料分析 (1)漁期間每月至二漁港採集鎖管樣本(各約5公斤)。 (2)於實驗室進行物種鑑定,盡量至物種階層,分析月別物種組成。 (3)每尾標本皆進行形質測量(如體長,體重等),並紀錄成熟階段,分析鎖管物種之月別結構。 <U>預期效益</U> (1)瞭解海峽北部鎖管資源之變化趨勢及空間分布型態。 (2)初步瞭解鎖管漁業之物種組成及形態結構。 (3)建立鎖管漁業之漁獲統計資料。(1)瞭解海峽北部鎖管棒受網漁獲之物種組成及形態結構。 (2)建立海峽北部鎖管棒受網漁業標本船之漁業活動資料。 (3)掌握海峽北部鎖管漁業資源之漁海況特性。 (4)掌握本省鎖管棒受網漁船集魚燈光強度之利用情形。 The production of the world’s cephalopod fisheries increased markedly in the past four decades. The target species of fisheries comprised of oceanic ommastrephid squids and inshore neritic loliginid squids which usually play important roles in the trophic structure of the world’s marine ecosystems. The loliginid squids around Taiwan were harvested by trawl and torch-light net fishing vessels which operated major in the waters off northeastern Taiwan and waters around Peng-hu (Pescadores, Taiwan Strait). The species included <I>Uroteuthis</I> (<I>Photololigo</I>) <I>edulis</I>, <I>U</I>. (<I>P.</I>) <I>chinensis</I>, <I>U</I>. (<I>P</I>.) <I>duvaucelii</I>, and <I>U</I>. (<I>P</I>.) <I>sibogae</I>. Recent studies have shown that <I>U.</I> (<I>P.</I>) <I>edulis</I> are dominant off northeastern Taiwan while <I>U.</I> (<I>P.</I>) <I>chinensis</I> dominant in Taiwan Strait (TS). The life-history parameters and migration patterns of <I>U.</I> (<I>P.</I>) <I>edulis</I> has also examined while the life-history parameters of <I>U.</I> (<I>P.</I>) <I>chinensis</I> are unclear. In addition, information for species composition in the production are lack of scientific survey. The establishment of long-term catch-effort data can not only explore the variability in temporal and spatial distribution pattern, but also can support to understand the migration pattern and population dynamics. The questions to be addressed in this project are: 1) to understand the temporal variation of production of loliginid squids and the contribution in the fisheries in the northern TS (by gears, based on fishery yearbook); 2) to establish catch-effort data and estimate the abundance index spatiotemporally of loliginid squids (based-on logbook); 3) to study the species composition and population structure of loliginid squids in the northern TS. The working items are, 1.Analysis of fishery yearbook (1) Examine the structure of loliginid squid production, by fishing gears and location, around Taiwan. (2) Examine the temporal variation of loliginid squid production around Taiwan. 2.Analysis of fishery data (logbook) (1) Establish the catch-effort data of loliginid squids by logbook system. The fishing vessels are chose from both two fishing ports Ma-gong (Peng-hu) and Hsin-chu (Hsing-chu). (2) Collect and maintain the ctach-efffort database system. (3) Analyze the activity and spatial patterns of fishing vessels. (4) Analyze the spatial pattern and temporal variation of catch and CPUE (by species). 3. Analysis of biological data (1) Collect loliginid squid samples, monthly during fishing season, from the two fishing ports (at ca. 5 kg each). (2) Identify species composition of samples, to the species level as possible. Analyze monthly species composition of loliginid squids. (3) Make morphological measurements (mantle length, body weight) for each specimen and record sexual maturity stage. Analyze monthly structure of loliginid squids. The expected results are, (1) Understand the temporal variation and spatial distribution patterns of loliginid squids in the northern TS. (2) Preliminary understand the species ccomposition and population structure of loliginid squids in the northern TS. (3) Establish the catch-effort database of loliginid squids.
