由於一般的小型漁船受限於經費與空間之不足，沒有完整之相關儀器維護航行安全，且船身短小不易被發現，發生海難之情況，時有所聞，尤其在遇到海況不佳或在船舶交通繁忙之漁場作業時，發生海難之機會更加增高，因此，規劃建置我國漁船海難資料庫，實屬必要。本計畫將調查蒐集我國歷年來之漁船海難資料，分別建立漁船動態與靜態海難資料庫為目的，充分參考國際組織、先進國家與國內相關海難資料庫，以海洋地理資訊系統比較分析後，規劃建置可提供一般查詢、關聯查詢及統計分析等功能之我國漁船海難資料庫系統。Due to the small fishing boats have not enough apace and budget for setting navigational safety monitoring system,therefore the fishery sea disaters happended from time to time. For this reason,to establish the Fishery sea disater data base becomes very important and necessary which to be done in a short time. This project try to establish the newest Fishery sea disaters data base for survey,query and analysis the information about Fishery sea distress reasons.
