本計劃將篩選臺灣繁養殖場品質良好之淡水長臂大蝦種蝦及引進新品種，並利用生物科技進行種蝦基因鑑定，以確定種蝦之遺傳基因進而降低蝦苗之遺傳缺陷，並進行交配繁殖試驗，選殖出存活率、成長率及抗病力高的種蝦，以提升蝦苗之存活率與成長率，整合種蝦培育及種苗孵化繁殖技術，以完成淡水長臂大蝦優良種苗之量產技術。 In this plan, we will try to screen qualified freshwater prawn from culture farm or import new speices from foreign country. Using biotechniques, the genotypes of prawn will be examined. We will try to select the qualified freshwater prawn which grow fast, are disease-resistant. The qualified freshwater prawn will be mated and produce qualified freshwater prawn larvae. The genetic deficiency due to inbreeding will be decreased.
