Abstract
台灣灘屬於太平洋鄰近之邊緣海又是黑潮支流經過受影響的海域,因全球暖化氣候變遷西風帶減弱之故使得黑潮減弱,這可能會影響該海域海水湧升現象減弱或增強?在在需透過研究來了解對生態環境的衝擊影響。當西風帶減弱使得黑潮也減弱時,流經呂宋海峽黑潮的流幅meandering也較嚴重,進入南海或進入台灣灘的黑潮水也較多,黑潮水越多到達台灣灘,高溫高鹽海水進到此一區域是否會混合台灣灘東南方的湧升冷水。一般而言台灣灘東南方的湧升流現象應是Ekman pumping或是受海流撞擊陸棚斜坡所致。若黑潮流增強時流經呂宋海峽的黑潮支流進入南海或到達台灣灘的黑潮水也就越少,意即台灣灘的高溫高鹽水會較少,將使得該區域的水團變成低鹽水,台灣灘東南方的湧升冷水會變得較強或較弱?Taiwan Bank belongs to the adjacent marginal sea of the Pacific Ocean, and it is affected by the branch Kuroshio Current. A result of the global warming, the weakening westerly wind leads to the Kuroshio flux decreasing. That could affect the upwelling strength around the Taiwan Bank whether it could lead to the increasing or increasing upwelling. In a word, it needs going through the study of ecosystem environment of Taiwan Bank to realize the impacts for this system. According to some literatures, the Kuroshio by way of the Luzon Strait weakens leading to the large meandering happening while the westerly winds decrease. This process leads the more the Kuroshio water entering into the South China Sea or into the Taiwan Bank. Therefore, more high temperature and high salted water of the Kuroshio would mix the upwelled cold waters in the zone. Generally speaking, the water upwelling southeast off the Taiwan Bank should be caused by the Ekman pumping or by an ocean current impinging on the continental slope. On the contrary, less Kuroshio water enters into the upwelling zone, implying that the area will appear much low salinity of water mass. The processes could lead to the upwelling zone that becomes increasing or decreasing water upwelling.
