根據衛生福利部的統計資料，女性癌症死亡年齡集中在45-65歲，但25-65歲女性是重要的家庭支柱，承擔家庭照顧之責，也需要外出工作，如未工作之因則集中在照顧小孩與料理家務上。可見兩性平權在臺灣社會雖是一種共識，但從實務上觀察並非全然如此。長久以來女性承擔了家庭最重要照顧者之責，家人罹病，女性必須參與療疾；自我罹病，卻往往只能自己照顧自己。現代女性作家透過書寫，直指因病痛衍生之失能狀態，或是生命幾近消逝，仍需面對某些偏見與污名的隱喻，這些迷思在我們的文化中亦顯其粗糙紋理。種種現象的被曲解，或強詞奪理，或附會想像，造成了另一種霸凌。療疾敘事可視為作者的生命故事，也是一種疾病誌。身體健康的人，並不容易體會身體失能延伸出的種種障礙。因疾病導致身體的殘缺，人們該用什麼樣的視角、態度與行徑關照己身？身全心殘，是否也是一種病態？本研究關注女性書寫中的療疾主題，包含自媒體書寫，並進行人物訪談。研究目的在探討療疾書寫如何展現自我或他者失能的身體與病況，銘刻建構主體性與自我定位認同；進而與男性療疾文本做一題材、內容、表達方式的比較，再現女性療疾行為在文化論述中的風姿樣貌，及其對社會產生的價值意涵與反思。 According to statistics from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, women who died of cancer usually happen on 45~65 years old. It is worth noting that 25 to 65 years old women are usually the backbone of the family. They always need to take the responsibility for children care and housework, they also need to go out to work. Obviously, the gender equality in Taiwan still has a long way to go although it has been a consensus for people. Being the backbone of a family for female is not easy, no matter how they dedicate their life to family, they still have to look after themselves when suffers from an illness. Modern female writers point out that when women suffer from disability due to illness, or even when life is almost gone, they still need to face certain stereotypes, prejudices and stigma. These myths often show their rough texture in our culture. Because most of the people don’t understand the disease, some people impose sensation, imagining, and misinterpreting the disease, thus causing another kind of bullying.The writing of curing disease can be regarded not only as the life story of the author, but also a record of their disease. It is no easy for most of the people with good health to understand the physical disability, and even the inconvenience as well as various obstacles caused by disability due to illness. When the disease causes our body become incompleteness, what kind of perspective, attitude and behavior should we have to look at ourselves? Moreover, is it also a kind of physical disability if a person who has a healthy body but with mental illness? Our research focus on the topic about the writing of curing disease by female authors, including the works on we media and interviews. We then analyze how the writings on the curing disease present the incompleteness of themselves or other disability, and how they construct self-subjectivity and self-identification. Finally, we try to compare the theme, contents and the style of presentation with the works of curing disease writing by male authors. We hope this research can present and highlight the fortitude and style in Chinese culture when female are during disease curing process, and show up the meaning of its values and introspection to our society.
