摘要: This paper investigates the engineering feasibility of cage aquaculture in the offshore wind farm area of Changhua, Taiwan. Two types of net cages commonly used in Taiwan are compared under typhoon wave and monsoon wave conditions to determine the suitable one. The submersible function of the selected cages to reduce the typhoon wave effect is analyzed. The yearly probability of the remaining volumes of the selected cages (deformed volume/undeformed volume) under a wave scatter diagram combined with a tidal current of the study area are analyzed and discussed. The influences of water depth on the selected cages for the site selection are investigated. Regarding the seabed sand waves in the study area, two potential disasters of mooring line failure and anchor sinking on the selected cages are considered and discussed. Both issues are a concern for the wind farm developers, fishery groups, and government authorities. According to the results, the selected cage aquaculture is feasible from an engineering standpoint in the case study area.

摘要: Ti-based MXenes have shown great promise in electrochemical applications, including (photo)electrocatalysis and energy storage. However, their practical application has been hindered by their rapid oxidation in the presence of water and O-2. In this work, we propose a method to solve the problem through a one-step hydro-thermal treatment of MXene (Ti3C2Tx, where T-x is -OH or -F) in the presence of agarose. The hydrothermal treatment results in the in situ capping of the phenolic carbon layer on the Ti(3)C(2)T(x )to form Ti3C2Tx@C, which improves its chemical stability by protecting the Ti atoms from oxidation with water and O-2, and thus enhances its electrochemical performance by avoiding re-stacking of the Ti3C2Tx@C sheets. The as-prepared Ti3C2Tx@C exhibits high oxidation resistance with > 95% performance when stored in an aqueous medium for at least 100 days. Ti3C2Tx@C provides a specific capacitance of 736 F g-1 in 1 M H2SO4 electrolyte over a voltage window of 0.5 V. Having excellent water dispersibility and high electrochemical activity, Ti3C2Tx@C is ideal for the preparation of stable MXene inks for the fabrication of high-performance interdigitated electrodes through inkjet printing. The flexible micro-supercapacitor constructed from Ti3C2Tx@C ink exhibits excellent cyclic stability up to 10,000 charge-discharge cycles without a significant decrease in specific capacitance.

摘要: Direct Z-scheme heterojunctions are widely used for photocatalytic water splitting and CO2 reduction due to facilitating well-separated photogenerated charge carriers and spatial isolation of redox reactions. Here, using a facile two-step hydrothermal and ion-exchange method, we uniformly decorate silver orthophosphate (i.e., Ag3PO4) quantum dots with an average characteristic size of similar to 10 nm over tin(iv) sulphide (i.e., SnS2) nanosheets to form a 0D/2D heterojunction. The direct Z-scheme mechanism, i.e. charge transport for efficient electron (from SnS2) and hole (from Ag3PO4) recombination, is confirmed by the following experiments: (i) ultraviolet and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies; (ii) photodeposition of Pt and PbO2 nanoparticles on reduction and oxidation sites, respectively; (iii) in situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy; and (iv) electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. Owing to the photoreduction properties of Ag3PO4 with orthophosphate vacancies, Z-scheme charge carrier transfer, and efficient exciton dissociation, an optimized heterojunction shows a high CO2-to-CO reduction yield of 18.3 mu mol g(-1) h(-1) with an illustrious selectivity of similar to 95% under light illumination, which is about 3.0 and 47.8 times larger than that of Ag3PO4 and SnS2, respectively. The carbon source for the CO product is verified using a (CO2)-C-13 isotopic experiment. Moreover, by tracing the peak at similar to 1190 cm(-1) in the dark and under light irradiation, in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy demonstrates that the CO2 reduction pathway goes through the COOH* intermediate.

摘要: The present study utilized piezoelectric ceramics (PC) as actuators to design five new piezoelectric heatsinks and preliminarily investigated the different design types and their operating conditions, such as the frequency, placement distance, thickness between piezoelectric sheets, piezoelectric sheet size, and noise produced. The results showed that when the micro heatsink bearingless piezo jet was placed too close to the heat source, the high temperature sucked back the surrounding fluids, causing the fluid chamber temperature to rise and the cooling effect to be reduced. Therefore, the heatsink should be placed between 10 and 20 mm from the heat source. With the proper distance, the heat convection coefficient was 200% greater than that of a traditional rotary fan. The cooling effect of the five heatsinks was calculated using the thermal analysis method, and the results indicated that the convection thermal resistance of the best heatsink could be reduced by about 36%, and the frequency, flow velocity, and noise were all positively correlated. When the supplied piezoelectric frequency was 300 Hz, the noise level was similar to that of a commercial rotary fan. The tested heatsinks had one of two volumes depending on the size of the piezoelectric sheet, including 3150 mm(3) or 4050 mm(3), respectively. An array of 25-32 micro heatsinks of the same size were connected in series. The power consumption of any single heatsink was 10% of that for a rotary fan. Among the five types of heatsinks, the best type had a piezoelectric sheet diameter of 41 mm, a piezoelectric thickness of 2 mm, and an opening length of 4 mm. Furthermore, the best operating conditions were found at a frequency of 300 Hz and a placement distance of 20 mm.
