dc.description.abstract | The nomenclature of the Chinese calappid crab, Calappa undulata Dai & Yang, 1991, is clarified. Calappa quadrimaculata Takeda & Shikatani, 1990, recently synonymised with C. lophos (Herbst, 1782), is shown to be a valid species, easily distinguished by various carapace and male abdominal features as well as the live coloration of adults. | en_US |
