dc.description.abstract | Abundant material of Glyphocrangon stenolepis Chace was found off Taiwan. Supplementary specimens from the South China Sea and Japan have made possible to redescribe this poorly known species. Remarkable sexual differences in body sculpture and coloration are found in this species. The paratype from the Sulu Sea has proven to represent a different as yet undetermined species. Other morphological variations are discussed, and the coloration is illustrated. | en_US |
