dc.description.abstract | A series of field collections of fishes were made in the Matang mangrove, Malay Peninsula in April 2011. At least 23 genera and 27 species of gobioid fishes including a new Pseudogobius species were collected and recorded in this region during the expedition. The checklist of gobioid fauna and available materials are provided herein, and the formal description of a new goby species, Pseudogobius fulvicaudus Huang, Shao & Chen, new species will be provided and discussed in this paper. | en_US |
