Two infrequently reported dromiid species, Stimdromia angulata (Sakai, 1936) and Epigodromia nodosa (Sakai, 1936), are recorded from Taiwan for the first time. The taxonomy of the two species is discussed. Stimdromia angulata has large eggs suggesting it undergoes abbreviated larval development. The spermathecal structure of Stimdromia is also figured for the first time. Epigodromia nodosa is compared with its close congener, E. acutidens (Sakai, 1983), and the two taxa, which may be synonymous, can only be distinguished by subtle differences in the anterolateral teeth, pseudorostral lobes and carapace shape. The spermatheca of the type species of Epigodromia, E. granulata (Kossman, 1878) is also figured for the first time, and its structure is quite different from that of E. nodosa, suggesting they may not be congeneric. All three species of Epigodromia studied possess epipods on the coxae of their chelipeds.en_US
