(UMT) was founded in 1999 to dedicate in the design, development and manufacturing of customized microwave / mmWave devices and antennas for broadband wireless communications such as Point-to-Point, BTS, VSAT, LTE and 5G. Dr. Tungyi Wu, the Founder and President of UMT, has more than 30 years of direct experience in microwave industry including engineering, marketing, manufacturing and professional management . Under his direction, UMT has become a major provider of high performance and low cost microwave / mmWave devices, sub-systems , and antennas in growing wireless telecommunication markets. The UMT R&D team consists of experienced and enthusiastic engineers with advanced educational degrees in microwave / mm-wave design backgrounds. It has more than 100 years of combined hands-on experience in adapting state-of-the-art CAD software coupled with process knowhow. UMT's design and production capability has been recognized and approved by first tier wireless communication system companies. With headquarter strategically located in Taiwan, where it has ample and high quality supporting vendors and a large pool of high and diversely skilled, relatively low cost technicians, UMT is able to provide high quality products with competitive prices for our customers. To achieve higher vertical integration capability and to ensure a stable operating environment with a long term purpose, UMT has invested in its own factory in Keelung as well as a factory in Kunshan, China.
