" 本計畫企圖從廠商的雇用規模成長層面來探討廠商與員工特性對廠商工作機會創造的影響。雖然目前探討廠商特性對其規模成長之影響的文獻相當眾多，但針對員工人力資本組成特性對廠商規模成長之影響的研究仍不多見。因此，本計畫將運用 1998年至 2005年工廠校正暨營運調查以及 1991年至 2012年的上市櫃公司資料從多面向的廠商與員工特性之差異來探討其對廠商雇用規模成長所產生之長期與短期效果。除此之外，本計畫亦應用固定效果分量迴歸模型，藉以探討各項特性對於高、中、低規模成長之廠商的影響效果，而所得之結果將有助於瞭解廠商在工作機會創造的決定因素，並作為日後相關政策的參考方針。 "" We set out in this project to investigate the relationships that potentially exist between firm growth, size, age and human capital within the manufacturing and listed firms in Taiwan. We use both the 1998-2005 plant survey from MOEA and the 1991-2012 listed firms’ data from TEJ database as the empirical foundation for our examination of the effects of various characteristics on firm employment growth in this project. Moreover, we employ the quantile regression with fixed effects to further investigate these impacts on low, median, and high employment growth of firms. Our results are expected to have important implications for the policy of job creation."
