Description

Abstract
"調查九孔附苗板上的附著藻質與量的變化,並以各種光照和附苗板的處理方式,來增加九孔苗的存活率;提出附苗的管理模式來增加苗的活存率. (一) 確定九孔苗之初期餌料藻類相的檔案資料. (二) 探討九孔苗初期死亡與餌料的關係,實驗結果可以確立提高附苗率及存活率. (三) 建立簡便的餌料培養模式及簡化附苗的程序,可大大減少人工附苗的成本及刷苗的死亡率以節省資金浪費." "Abalone is an economically important gastropods in Taiwan, Japan, Australia and China. The culture of abalone has also made great advances, especially in Taiwan. Abalone aquaculture was initiated over 30 years ago on a small scale and it was not until 1977 that juvenile production and rearing methods were established. Nowadays, Taiwan is the world's second largest producer at 2,400 tons. However, mass mortality of juvenile abalone occurred last year. Attached juvenile abalone fall down from plastic plate after 7-day attachment. It means that farmer will not have juvenile abalone to culture. If the mass mortality of juvenile abalone can not be solved, it means this industry will be disappeared. Therefore, we must find a way to solve the mass mortality problem. The purpose of this study will be three-fold: (1) to examine the quality and quantity of attached microalgae under different season and temperature, (2) to examine the relationship between the microalgae species and the survival of juvenile abalone, (3) to test the effect of light intensity on the microalgae species attached plastic plate, (4) to test the effects of different treatments of plastic plate on the microalgae species attached on plastic plate."
