Description

Abstract
"觀賞魚在全球國際貿易的一年總額約為 90億美元,年增長率8%,是一個前景相當看好的產業。觀賞魚受到廣大民眾喜愛的原因在於色彩鮮豔、飼料取得方便及容易自行孵化繁殖,加上其體態多變、種類繁多,因此確定了觀賞魚產業的蓬勃發展。 大部分的觀賞魚產於東南亞,必須承受長期的航空運輸。目前活魚袋運輸系統,降低了觀賞魚的貨物運輸重量,也使觀賞魚可以採取較高密度包裝來降低運送的成本,觀賞魚在包裝前餵食維生素C與維生素E,加強其免疫力,可以讓受緊迫的觀賞魚死亡率降至最低,是一種更為積極的方法。 本計畫為(1)利用螺旋藻粉、蝦紅素添加至飼料中製作揚色飼料與四種市售揚色飼料投餵錦鯉與神仙魚,比較對魚隻體表呈色影響 (2)飼料中添加適當含量之維生素 C及維生素E,降低非洲王子、黃金七間、大和米蝦於運輸時所造成的緊迫以增加存活率。  " "Today with a turnover of US $9 billion a year and an annual growth of 8%, the ornamental fish is a global component of international trade and is one of the most economic and profitable fish farming activities. The live-bearing category of ornamental fishes are one of the most popular of all ornamental fishes with the fish hobbyists and entrepreneurs because of the fact that they are brightly colored, accept all kind of food and breed prolifically to produce living free swimming young ones. The two main aspects that determine the trade and prosperity of the ornamental fish industry are health and pigmentation of the ornamental fishes. As most of the ornamental fish produced in Southeast Asia are destined for export, the fish must not only be attractive but also robust to withstand long air transportation. The polyethylene-bag transport system has greatly reduced the shipping weight of ornamental fish consignments and made them feasible for air transportation. The use of packaging technology for air transport to increase fish leading density and improve post-shipment survival is critical to the industry. The key liming factor to decrease stress of fish in transportation system is to increase immune system of fish. A variety of techniques have been developed to manage the air transportation. They include starving fish before packaging or diets treated with Vitamin C or Vitamin E to increase the ability of immune system. The present study will investigate (1) Angel fish and koi will be fed with diet formulated fixed amount of astaxanthin and algal powder and four different kind of commercial diets. The skin pigmentation of angel fish and koi fed with diet with known formulation and commercial diets will be compared and categorized; (2) the most suitable levels of Vitamin C and Vitamin E inclusion in the diets to achieve the highest survival of ornamental fish during air transportation will be investigated."
