Description

Abstract
"近年來,使用者透過智慧型手機取用各種類型之行動應用程式(Mobile Application, 簡稱Mobile App)已成為目前主流的軟體遞送模式,如何有效地達成行動服務之整合與遞送亦成為備受重視的議題。然而,既有之服務混搭(Mashup)技術仍存在幾個主要問題,使其無法適用於智慧型手機:未考量智慧型手機之特性、未考量與關聯資源之整合、一般使用者難以運用等,因此,為能建構有效的行動服務整合與遞送機制,本研究計畫提出服務微件(Service Brick)之概念,並提出適用於智慧型手機的服務微件組合框架 (Service Brick Composition Framework),用以整合需求之服務與資訊。此框架基於智慧型手機螢幕尺寸和網路頻寬相對較小的特性進行設計,其中基礎服務微件(Atomic Service Brick)能提供單一功能之 Web UI,並連結伺服器端或是客戶手機端之資源,如外部連結之 Web Service或是客戶端之功能模組,而使用者能夠透過本計畫規劃開發之視覺化(Visual)複合服務微件設計工具,組合多個服務微件以建構複合服務微件(Composite Service Brick),可快速發展出符合其需求之複合行動服務應用 (Composite Mobile Service Application)。""Nowadays, utilizing a variety of mobile applications through smartphones has become a main trend of software delivery model. How to effectively and efficiently compose and deliver mobile services on smartphones has become an important issue. However, existing mashup techniques cannot address this issue well due to several reasons: (1) not considering the characteristics of smartphones; (2) lacking mechanisms to integrating related resources; and (3) difficult to use for ordinary users. To build an effective and efficient mobile service composition and delivery mechanism, in this project, we introduce the concept of service brick, and propose a service brick composition framework. In this framework, a service brick provides web-enabled user interface and links server-side or client-side resources such as external RESTful services or client-side context information. Users can combine several service bricks into a composite service brick for integrating interested or related services and information. Notably, this framework is devised according to the characteristics of smartphones, including relatively narrow network bandwidth and relatively small size screen. Besides, a visual design tool is planned to let ordinary users build composite service brick easily. Accordingly, ordinary users can build their own composite mobile services quickly for satisfying dynamic user requirements. "
