Description

Abstract
"生質柴油被歐盟及美國視為極具發展潛力的可再生式清潔燃 料,國內經濟部能源局、環保署等單位亦正積極推動使用。為降低 生質柴油成本,本計畫擬使用廉價的原料油及設計開發快速製程, 以降低生產成本並提高產率,達到生質柴油價格可以與超級柴油競 爭的目標。本計畫將與產業界合作開發介於批次式及連續式製程之 間的半連續式製程,利用超臨界流體轉脂化法將黃豆皂腳高酸油、 或高游離脂肪酸的植物油或廢食用油與甲醇進行轉脂化反應後得到 生質柴油,再進行油品的燃料性質、引擎性能與排氣特性、及實車 測試,以驗證並提昇所提煉出來的生質柴油品質。本計畫所研發完 成之超臨界生質柴油提煉製程可將技術轉移給產業界以生產符合國 家及國際品質標準的生質柴油,建立國立獨立自主的生質柴油提煉 技術,同時達到降低車輛排氣污染、改善空氣品質、減少對進口石 油依賴等兼具能源、經濟、環保與運輸的多重效益。"" Biodiesel has been regarded as a renewable, clean alternative fuel by European Union and America. Energy Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs, Environmental Protection Administration and other governmental administrations are actively promoting the use of biodiesel in Taiwan. In order to reduce the price of biodiesel, this proposal intends to use cheap raw oil and develop fast and efficient manufacturing process to curtail the product cost and enhance production rate so that the sale of biodiesel can be competitive with that of super-low sulfur diesel. A semi-continuous manufacturing process which degree of automation is between batch-type and continuous process will be designed under the cooperation between our research team and a renown international equipment supplier. Transesterification reaction between supercritical fluid and high acid oil of soapstocks was carried out to produce biodiesel. The biodiesel after further procedures of purification and distillation was thereafter test its fuel properties, engine performance and emission characteristics in order to improve its overall fuel quality. The biodiesel-refining technology developed in this study may be transferred to industry for producing biodiesel of high quality. The purposes of self-independence of technology for biodiesel production, reduction of pollutant emission from vehicles, and improvement of air quality can be achieved. The multibenefits of energy exploitation, economy development and environmental protection will be acquired as well."
