Description

Abstract
1. 防止藻類及細菌附著之水族缸玻璃材料開發 水族缸年總產值約為3.4億元,但魚缸或水產展示櫃在常年使用的狀態下,會因為水中生物(菌類或藻類)的滋長繁衍,而造成玻璃壁面吸附這類生物而轉成不透明的狀態,影響視覺效果,故而必須經常清洗,造成消費者困擾,影響消費意願。本研究計畫將利用矽烷化合物膜開發防止藻類及細菌附著之水族缸玻璃材料,該項技術可改善水族缸玻璃表面被沾汙的問題,因而可增加30%以上之價值,並提升台灣水族缸產品的外銷競爭力。 2. 新穎觀賞魚模組化飼育及維生系統的開發 本計畫擬以中小型套缸的整體創新設計為目標,針對海水觀賞魚蝦和水草缸使用者的需求,開發模組化飼育及維生系統,將維生系統、控溫系統、投餌、燈光等以創新方式整合,且能模組化擴充更換。既可以套缸銷售,亦可以視需求彈性增減元件,促進購買意願,以創新的設計創造品牌,提高競爭優勢。本年度擬完成創新的觀賞魚投餌和維生系統和兩種套缸設計製作,申請一項專利 3. 新穎觀賞魚及周邊設備之研發 為滿足國際新穎觀賞水族產品市場之開發,本研究擬針對兩種水生植物,齒果澤瀉屬(<I>Echinodorus</I>,俗稱皇冠草) 與隱棒花屬(<I>Cryptocoryne</I>,俗稱椒草)兩種水生植物的根莖切片組織培養,以生長激素(BA & NAA)誘發腋生芽後,使其分離培養產生幼芽,並評估其於溫室內大量繁殖之產量,同時建立自我檢疫技術與包裝、運輸作業流程。此外,為建立本島產之水生植物之國際市場開發,以水蕨(<I>Ceratopteris thalictroides</I>)之不定芽栽培,縮短培養時間建立其養殖模式,並進行水族業界接受度評估。 4. 觀賞蝦增艷飼料之開發 研發觀賞蝦專屬飼料配方,提升其增豔性、效益性,提高觀賞蝦產業鏈結,增加收益。(1).提升觀賞蝦之增紅效果,開發增紅效果之原料及混合添加劑。可分純紅系列的極火蝦等或 紅白相間的水晶蝦等。(2). 研發增加觀賞蝦飼料誘引、黏著效益性的原料及混合添加劑。 開發觀賞蝦專屬配方兩種,以提升目前市售觀賞蝦飼料之增豔性、誘引性及水中安定性。 5. 建立海洋觀賞性刺絲胞增殖培育技術 本研究計畫擬評估與開發2至3種具觀賞價值、且可在人工飼育環境下生長的潛在珊瑚品種。其目的有三,第一:開發人工養殖珊瑚新品種及技術,以開創觀賞魚新產品;第二:若能讓珊瑚在人工飼育環境下繁殖與生長,勢必減少對天然珊瑚的依賴;第三:若能尋找出容易飼養的珊瑚種類,降低飼育門檻,必能受到廣大消費者的喜愛,對觀賞水族產業有幫助。 1. The development of algae and microorganism attached free glass aquarium coated with polymerized siloxane. The annual GDP of aquarium tanks is about 340 million NTD. During the use of aquarium or aquatic product showcase, the aquatic organisms (fungi or algae) grow to multiply, causing biological adsorption on the glass surface and turn it into an opaque state, which impacts the visual effects. Therefore, the aquarium must be frequently cleaned, which disturbs the consumers and reduced the consumer sentiment. This research project utilizes a silane compound membrane coated tank to prevent the adsorption of algae and microorganism on the glass material, the technology can improve the tanks stained on glass surface problems, thus 30% more value and enhance the export competitiveness of Taiwan aquarium tank. 2. Development of novel modularized feeding and life support systems for ornamental fish The purpose of this project is to develop novel modularized feeding and life support systems for ornamental fish, shrimp and water plants. We wish to integrate the filtering system, temperature control system, feeders, and lighting systems with a novel design concept. The modularized system can be purchased in whole or separately. We wish to apply a patent at the end of this project. 3. Development of new aquarium equipment and accessories The study is focus on two vascular water plants, <I>Echinodorus</I> & <I>Cryptocoryne</I>, for the new products of international aquarium markets. These two kinds of water plants will be cultured by their propagations which are new buds induced from their root tissue using BA (N6-benzyladenine) & NAA (naphthalene acetic acid). The mass-production of these buds will be separated and cultured in green house, the unit yields is also evaluated. The procedure of quarantine, packing, and transportation on these two plants will be built up in the study. Another native water plant, <I>Ceratopteris thalictroides</I>, will also to find out its value for the international aquarium markets by its fast-growing, adventitious buds 4. Developement of red color enhancement feed for ornamental shrimp The project is to develop red color and palatability enhancement feed for ornamental shrimp, which can improve competitiveness of the feed and further increase Taiwan brand awareness on ornamental fish feed in the world. The study will be conducted as following: 1.Develop ingredients and additives to improve red color for cherry shrimp and crystal red shrimp. 2. Develop ingredients and additives to improve palatability, attraction and binding ability for ornamental shrimp feed. Integrate 1and 2 to develop two feed formulas for cherry shrimp and crystal red shrimp, respectively. The two feed will show better red color, palatability and water stability as compared to commercial ornamental shrimp feed. <I> </I>    5. Development of new aquarium equipment and accessories The objectives of this study are to evaluate the coral that could be raised under artificial culture system. There are three determinations for this experiment. First, we want to develop the coral culture technique and to find the new coral species for pet market. Second, if we can develop the coral culture technique, it will reduce the need of natural coral. Third, if we could lower the difficulty of the coral culture, it is helpful to develop pet market of coral.
