Description

Abstract
"台灣有許多台地,而台地地形的二維斷面形狀趨近於平切楔形的內域,因此平切楔形內域平面, 可以用來作為地震波在台地地形波傳問題研究的簡化模型。關於楔形平面的SH 波所產生的散射與地 表反應問題,過去學者們主要的研究對象是無截切的楔形平面,而求解截切楔形內域平面問題的研 究則較少,至於求解平切楔形內域平面的SH 波造成的地表反應則未見。因而,本年度(104 年)計畫 擬以《平切楔形內域平面的SH 波散射問題之研究》為主題,期能採用「領域媒親技巧」,搭配妥適 的「領域分割」與恰當的「波函數」表示式,以及加法公式(或適當的座標變換公式),求解此一問題, 並探討斷面不同的平切楔形內域平面,當 SH 波以不同頻率及角度入射時,平切楔形內域平面上的 地表反應之變化。本計畫之成果可提供給其他數值方法作為比對之用,亦可作為地震工程相關和地 球物理相關領域研究之參考。" "There are many terraces in Taiwan. The two-dimensional cross-section of terrace topography may approximate to a horizontally truncated wedge-shaped interior plane. Such a plane can be used as a simplified model to study the propagation problem of seismic waves in a terrace. For the problems of the scattering and ground-motion response induced by SH waves in a wedge-shaped plane, most researchers focus on the non-truncated case. However, those concerning the truncated wedge-shaped interior plane are very rare. Associated works on solving ground motions in a horizontally truncated wedge-shaped interior plane seem to be nonexistent. Therefore, this project is mainly aimed at exploring the problem of SH-wave scattering in a horizontally truncated wedge-shaped interior plane. The region-matching technique, together with a suitable strategy of domain decomposition and the appropriate wavefuncions, is adopted to deal with this issue. The proper coordinate-transformed relation is also introduced. Effects of various parameters (e.g. wave frequency and angle of incidence) on ground motions within such an area are evaluated and discussed. The results obtained from this project will provide helpful validation data for other numerical methods and serve as a useful reference to pertinent investigations in earthquake engineering or geophysics."
