Abstract
"海峽兩岸九孔種質資源評估與主要養殖性狀的遺傳基礎研究 臺灣九孔自上世紀80 年代以來就是臺灣重要的漁業和水產養殖 項目。根據臺灣農委會的報導,臺灣於1995 年曾締造世界最高的 九孔產量(2500 公噸)。不過在過去十年產量大幅銳減,只剩盛期 的3%。漁業署曾委託相關單位,展開一系列調查研究,試圖找出 問題原因並研擬解決方案。但時至今日,尚無定論,總之沒有跡 象顯示整起事件是由單個因子造成。近年來臺灣九孔群體往往爆 發全面性大規模死亡潮;且九孔暴斃現象多爆發於冬季和低水溫 之際,溫度可能是引爆死亡潮的誘因。認識臺灣九孔群體的遺傳 多樣性和開發鑒定臺灣九孔群體的方法,有助於臺灣群體的種質 改善。我台灣研究團隊將使用三種分子標記(微衛星 DNA、粒線 體DNA 與SNP),試圖從採集自臺灣、日本、韓國、中國和越南、 印尼的九孔樣本,分析探討其遺傳多樣性及鑒定群體的可能方法。 同時與中國九孔育種團隊進行構建高密度遺傳連鎖圖譜,利用複 合區間作圖等方法對雜色鮑作圖家系子代的主要生長性狀(如殼 高、殼長、體重和軟體重等)和抗逆性狀(如成活率、抗溫能力、 吸力等)進行QTL 定位。" "Evaluation of the genetic resource and the study of major aquaculture genetic characters of small abalone (Haliotis diversicolor) across the Taiwan Strait Small abalone (Haliotis diversicolor) is commercially important for both fisheries and aquaculture in Taiwan since 1980s. According to the Taiwan Council of Agriculture, in 1995 the world’s largest abalone production, 2,500 ton, was in Taiwan. However, the production of Taiwan small abalone has dramatically fallen more than 97 percent in last 10 years. A series of investigations was conducted after the mortality event but there was no indication of a single causative factor that could explain the mortalities. Taiwan stock often suffers a tremendous disease breakout in recent years. The breakout event was often associated with the onset of winter and the low water temperatures, and it is possible that this was the final stressor that initiated the event. Therefore, understanding its genetic diversity and developing stock identification methods will be extremely useful for stock improvement and prevention of illegal trade. Three molecular markers (microsatellite DNA, mtDNA and SNP) will be applied to examine the genetic diversity and possible stock identification methods in individuals from Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia. In the meantime, we will cooperative with Chinese small abalone breeding experts to construct high intensive genetic linkage map and QTL analyses the major growth characters (shell length, shell length. whole body weight and dressing percentage) of small abalone."
