觀賞水族貿易市場對多種類之淡水觀賞蝦類具明顯偏好與消費量值，在過去10年間，多種類之淡水與半淡鹹水觀賞蝦類被頻繁交易、運輸與飼養。本研究藉由發展基礎生理參數、營養需求、幼生培育與標準生產程序之研究調查，並藉由建立種間雜交技術，以期獲得提升繁養殖培育淡水觀賞蝦類分別於品質與數量上之有效策略。 Various species of freshwater ornamental shrimp trade is a growing multimillion dollar industry today. Over the past ten years, many freshwater and brackish shrimp have been growing in popularity in the aquarium industry and transportation frequently. This study evaluated the basic physiological factor, nutrition requirements, larval culture and standard operation procedures of the popular aquarium <I>Caridina </I>and <I>Neocaridina</I> shrimp (Atyidae). And try to develop the hybridization techniques of interspecies. We hope can make the solution to enhance the quality and quantity of propagation.
