Description

Abstract
空燃比為影響引擎動力與廢氣排放特性的重要因素。一般火花點火引擎將空燃比控制於理論值。文獻指出引擎使用稀薄之空燃比可降低燃料消耗量與廢氣排放值。已有研究顯示液化石油氣引擎採行稀薄燃燒可使廢氣排放量顯著降低,但高轉速時輸出扭矩下降且燃料消耗量上升。 本研究為針對液化石油氣引擎採用稀薄燃燒以探討最佳之空燃比。空燃比之控制是藉由全區域型含氧感測器之回授訊號,以PI控制方式將其控制在稀薄狀態。本研究探討不同空燃比及不同節氣門開度對於引擎輸出扭矩、燃料消耗量及廢氣排放之影響。結果顯示LPG引擎採行稀薄燃燒時輸出扭矩下降,但.lambda.值1.1時扭矩大致與理論空燃比時相同。燃料消耗率隨空燃比變為稀薄而減少,大致以.lambda.值1.2時為最佳。CO排放在稀薄燃燒時較理論空燃比時大幅降低;且不隨節氣門開度改變。HC排放亦較理論空燃比時減低甚多,尤以.lambda.值1.1時最低;節氣門開度增加時,HC排放則是先增後減。
