Abstract
本研究為了解幾丁聚醣對於糖尿病病人血脂質、血糖之影響,以第二型糖尿病併發高脂血症病人為實驗對象,並將幾丁聚醣及菊醣添加在餅乾中,依餅乾中所含之纖維質不同分成三組,分別為(1) Placebo (2) Chitosan (3) Chitosan + Inulin,每天攝食含幾丁聚醣(每片含1g幾丁聚醣)或幾丁聚醣加菊醣餅乾二次(每片含1g幾丁聚醣,0.2g菊醣),實驗採Double blind的方式,一共進行12週。實驗結果發現,攝食幾丁聚醣餅乾的病人並不含會影響血漿中血糖的濃度,但Chitosan + Inulin組的血漿HbA1c有下降的趨勢。在血脂質濃度方面,無論攝食幾丁聚醣或幾丁聚醣加菊醣餅乾,病人血漿三酸甘油脂有上升的趨勢,但是血漿總膽固醇則有下降的趨勢。值得注意的是,Placebo組之血漿總膽固醇濃度卻會明顯下降。雖然幾丁聚醣組有低的血漿LDL-膽固醇濃度,而菊醣的添加則會使此作用更加明顯(P<0.05)。另外在病人的體重、基礎代謝率、腰臀比、體脂肪、收縮壓變化上皆無明顯變化。由以上結果顯示,攝食幾丁聚醣餅乾有助於降低糖尿病病人血漿中LDL-膽固醇濃度。 The metabolism of glucose and lipid has been studied in diabetic subjects with hypercholesterolemia received chitosan biscuit for 12 weeks. All the subjects were divided into 3 groups by double blind way. The 3 groups are (1) Placebo group (2) Chitosan group (3) Chitosan + lnulin group. Although no significant difference in body weight, blood pressure, plasma total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol was observed in subjects after chitosan or chitosan + inulin treatment, a significant decrease in LDL cholesterol was found in chitosan + inulin group. Low plasma HbA1c level was observed in subjects after chitosan or chitosan + inulin treatment, but there is no significant difference. Results from this study showed that inulin supplementation may play an important role in decrease in plasma LDL cholesterol in Type 2 diabetic subjects after chitosan treatment.
