Description

Abstract
2000 年一月及二月,分別於彰化發生兩起疑似食用河魨及以河魨為原料製成之香魚片之中毒案例。由病患所保留之煮熟肝及香魚片殘餘檢體,經由毒性及基因分析後發現,煮熟肝及香魚片毒性分別為 280 ± 20 MU/g 及 243 MU/g,所純化出之毒素為河魨毒及脫水河魨毒。煮熟肝與日本河魨之細胞色素 b 基因 376 bp 片段呈現相同 序列與限制切位,同樣情形也發生在香魚片及毒鯖河魨。因此煮熟肝之原料魚種經鑑定為日本河魨,香魚片為毒鯖河魨;導致中毒之原因物質經鑑定後均為河魨毒。There were two food poisoning incidents occurred in Changhua county, Taiwan, in January and February 2000. The small residues of cooked fish liver and dried dressed fish fillet were retained by the victims were assayed for toxicity and mitochondrial DNA. The toxicity of cooked fish liver was 280 mouse units per g and toxicity of dried dressed fish fillet was 243 mouse units per g. The puried toxins from two incidents were all identified as tetrodotoxin and anhydrotetrodotoxin. The cooked fish liver and fresh liver of Takifugu niphobles showed the same sequence genotype and restriction site with 376-nucleotide region of the cytochrome b gene. They were also the same in dried dressed fish fillet and the toxic puffer fish Lagocephalus lunaris. Therefore, the species of cooked fish liver was suggestesd as T. niphobles and the dried dressed fish fillet was identified as L. lunaris. Their causative agents were all identified as tetrodotoxin.
