Description

Abstract
"本研究計劃以三年為期,申請者將針對臺灣與海南島產多樣性頗高之特定類群的 溪流底棲魚類之魚種系統分類,及其比較不同島嶼所引發的種化機制,以及 mtDNA 分子親緣分析等項目進行研究。研究對象之類群,包括鰕虎科的吻鰕虎屬 (Rhinogobius)、鯉形目的爬鰍科之條鰍類之南鰍(Schistura)與鯉科之鮈亞科 (Gobioninae)的屬別之類群等底棲性魚類。研究期間,預定將規劃前往南中國之 福建、廣東、廣西與海男各省進行採集,並與中國學者合作,合力完成於"南支 那水系"的相關類群之系統分類與分子親緣之研究。預於此三年內,(1)在鰕虎 科魚類方面,構建南中國之福建至廣西及海南島之拉氏吻鰕虎Rhinogobius leavelli (Herre, 1934) 與臺灣產之班帶吻鰕虎Rhinogobius maculafasciatus 綜合之分子地理親緣分析(包括 mtDNA D-loop & ATP8-6 regions);完成海南島 之各支流水系的陸封型吻鰕虎魚類之系統分類,以及各特有魚種的分子親緣演化 (mtDNA D-loop & ND5 gene)之相互關係;並比較臺灣與海南島的吻鰕虎魚類的 地理分布與拓遷種化的形成機制。(2) 在條鰍之南鰍方面,將重新檢討條紋南鰍 Schistura fasciolata 種群mtDNA 分子系統分類之序列親緣分析,瞭解此種群 在“南支那水系"中,所扮演的種化之類型,及建立最新的分類體系。(3) 完成 臺灣海峽兩側(臺灣與福建)的鮈亞科魚類之分子親緣特性分析,瞭解所造成在臺 灣島嶼種化的形成與拓遷機制;與瓊州海峽兩側(海南島與廣西—廣東)的鮈亞科 魚類之分子親緣特性分析,瞭解在海南島嶼種化的形成與拓遷機制;並建立更完 整的海南島魚類系統分類之資訊,以期望能撰寫完成新版的海南島淡水魚類誌 (Inlandwater Fishes of Hainan)。" "The current project is mainly focused on species diversity, speciation patterns & molecular phylogenetic perspectives of several groups of stream benthic fishes in Taiwan and Hainan islands, China. The groups include (1) Rhinogobius in Gobiidae, (2) Schistura in Balitoridae and all members of different cyprinid genera of Gobioninae in Cyprinidae within Cypriniformes around southern China including Fujian, Gwangdong and Hainan Provinces in China as well as Taiwan. Within these coming three years, the international project will cooperate with Chinese ichthyologists for gathering better performance of current research project. The phylogeographical approach for Rhinogbius leavelli complex will be reconstructed in mainland Southern China, Hainan and also Taiwan. (1) The reinvestigation for non-diadromous species diversity of Hainan island will be achieved and revised as well as their molecular phlyogenetic prespective; (2) The phylogenetic research for group of so-called, striped laoch, Schsitura fsciolata species complex will be reconstructed in all main basins of south China region; and (3) analyzing the insular speciation patterns and phylogentic history for members of Gobioininae of Cyprinidiae around Taiwan and Hainan while compared to opposite, paired nearby basins from mainland China across both the Formosan Stait and the Chongju Stait."
