Abstract
"本研究主要利用天然沸石應用於放射性汙染處理,例如銫-137 及鍶-90。放 射性汙染物若流入海洋中,不但汙染環境、破壞生態平衡,更直接對人類的健康 造成危害。因此如何選用經濟且吸附效能好的材料是目前重要研究課題。前人研 究中常見的吸附材料包含黏土礦物、活性碳、矽膠、樹脂及沸石等等,其中天然 沸石是多種吸附材料中產量豐富、價格相對便宜且吸附效果優良的選擇。本研究 將使用絲光沸石、斜髮沸石、毛沸石、菱沸石等材料進行銫離子移除能力研究, 並且與工業上使用之樹脂之除銫能力進行比較。探討之控制變因包括初始濃度對 沸石吸附影響、各種天然沸石吸附效果的比較、環境溫度及不同基質環境(純水 及海水)下之影響。此外更進一步須瞭解這些沸石除銫之機制主要為離子交換或 物理性吸附、除銫的速率及動力學模式。過去核電廠用於核廢汙水之銫離子樹脂 價格較為昂貴,若能以相同吸附效能且價格低廉的天然沸石進行取代之,則可節 省處理經費,並可大量運用在核能災變處理事件。" "This study used natural zeolites in treatments of nuclear waste water for examples Cs-137 and Sr-90. When the nuclear waste water flows into the ocean, the environments are polluted and the ecosystems will be destroyed. Moreover, it will make huge injuries for people and animals. The important issue focuses on how to select the economic and efficient adsorbed materials in nuclear waste treatment. Clay minerals, active carbon, silica gel, resin, and zeolites are often used as the adsorbed materials in previous study. Among them, natural zeolite is a better choice because of abundant output, cheap price, and good adsorption ability. This study will use mordenite, clinoptilolite, erionite, and chabazite as the adsorbed materials for removing Cs ion, and further compares their removing Cs ability with that of the industrial resin. We want probe the controlling factors, which include the influences of initial Cs concentrations on the zeolite adsorption, comparison of the adsorption ability in each natural zeolite, and the influences of various temperatures and of different matrix solutions (pure water and sea water). Moreover, we need understand the mechanisms of zeolites removal cesium by adsorption or ion-exchange, and understand the removal rates and kinetic models of them. The price of resin used in treatments of nuclear waste water in nuclear power plant is expensive. The costs of nuclear waste treatment can be frugal, if we try to use the cheaper zeolites, which also own good adsorbed ability. Therefore, this method will be more economical to apply widely in the events of nuclear catastrophe and water treatment."
