Description

Abstract
"本計晝於已建立的沿岸都會區域(基隆市海洋大學内)和離島(彭佳嶼)二 測站,進行氣膠採集。所收集的樣本將進行成分分析,所分析的物種將有: 水溶性有機碳(water-soluble organic carbon ; WSOC)、水溶性無機與有機 氮 water-soluble organic and inorganic nitrogen ; WSON and WSIN)和其他重 要的主要離子。所分析的主要離子資料,將被用於來源之指標。此外,大 氣乾沉降中有機物種的濃度,將用來探討其時間與空間上的變異。 東亞的季風型態,將影響有機物種在大氣中的組成;一般,陸源性氣膠的 貢獻度在北風型態要遠高於南風型態(主要是因大型陸地集中於北方)。此 外,本區域内每年二月到五月,沙塵會在此期間往南傳輸。而沙塵在生地 化循環上的特性,即在短期間内將大量的陸源物質輸送到環境中。因此, 在本研究中,沙塵暴的影響也將是我們的另一個研究重點。 本研究的主要目的,將包括: (1)在東亞邊緣海大氣中水溶性有機碳、有機氮之變化; (2)高低分子量之有機碳與有機氮之貢獻度及其來源; (3) 海源氣膠中,有機物種的來源; (4) 東亞沙塵對區域内有機性物種濃度變化之影響。 (5) " "Aerosol samples will be collected from a coastal urban area (Keelung) and remote island (Peng-Jia Island). The samples will be analyzed from water-soluble organic carbon (WSOC), water-soluble organic and inorganic nitrogen (WSON and WSIN, respectively) and other important major ions. The obtained data of major ions will be utilized as the indicators of derived sources. In addition, the concentrations of organic species will be considered their temporal and spatial variations for dry atmospheric depositions. In general, the monsoon climate of East Asia has prominent effects on the atmospheric composition of organic species. The contribution of continental -derived source is usually with higher loading in northerly than southerly monsoon periods. In this study area, dust storms are periodically transported southward during the period from February to May each year. The relevance of dust storm events to the biogeochemical cycle is that dust storms can carry large amounts of continental - derived aerosol into the environments over a short period. Therefore, we are particularly interested in the influence of Asian dust on atmospheric organic species over the study area. The objective of this research include characterization of (1) water-soluble organic carbon and nitrogen over the marginal sea of East Asia, (2) high and low molecular weight organic compounds contribution to the organic species pool, (3) the sources of atmospheric organic species in marine aerosols, and (4) the impact of Asian dust on the distribution of organic species in the region.
