近年來由於電腦運算能力的提昇以及各種統計與模擬理論與方法的衍生幫助了漁業資源評估的進行，許多結合生產量、族群動態、族群空間分布等各種模式所建構之整合型資源評估模式相繼提出，因此也需要建構更為複雜的數理統計模式以及電腦程式設計。本計畫擬前往位於美國之美洲熱帶鮪類委員會與華盛頓大學，與該單位之科學家與教授進行漁業資源評估分析與模式建構之研習，以期能進一步應用於我國漁業資源之評估研究。 In recent years, numerous synthesis stock assessment models that incorporated population dynamics, production, spatial distribution models have been proposed due to the improvement of computation of computer and the intensive of statistical and simulation theory. Therefore, more complicated mathematical statistics modeling and computer programming are necessary for conducting these models. In this study, a short-term study and research about fishery stock assessment and modelling will be proceeded with scientists and professors of Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission and University of Washington for further applications on Taiwanese fishery resources assessments.
