由於目前印度洋劍旗魚資源評估結果仍有不確定性存在，本研究將應用年齡結構式並考量不同模式假設包括漁業選擇性、漁獲能率以及成長參數以評估這些不確定性對資源評估之影響。在大西洋劍旗魚資源指標分析方面，本研究將進行其CPUE標準化分析並分析台灣延繩釣漁業歷年漁獲體型變動趨勢，並彙整本年度(2009年)ICCAT之大西洋劍旗魚之資源評狀態估結果。。此外，本計畫也將持續進行台灣南方黑鮪之CPUE標準化分析以及年齡別之CPUE變動趨勢分析。 There are uncertainties remained for recent stock assessment of the swordfish in the Indian Ocean. This study will apply the age-structured model and evaluate the impacts of the assumptions, including selectivities, catchabilities and growth parameters, on the results of stock assessment. For population indicators of the swordfish in the Atlantic Ocean, this study will analyze trends of the CPUE standardization and the catch-at-size of Taiwanese longline fishery. This study will review the assessment results of swordfish in the Atlantic Ocean, which will be done by ICCAT in 2009. In addition, this study will continue standardize the CPUE of the southern bluefin tuna caught by Taiwanese fishery and analyze the trend of age-specific CPUE
