本計畫將根據台灣觀察員所收集之生殖腺樣本進行南方黑鮪之生殖生物學研究，分析內容將包括根據組織學分析結果並整合其捕獲資料分析南方黑鮪的生殖特性、生殖期等相關之生殖生物學分析並探討南方黑鮪生殖腺發育與體型大小、性別、空間之關聯性。本研究之成果擬提交至CCSBT延伸科學委員會。 This project will perform the study of reproductive biology of southern bluefin tuna based on the gonad samples collected from Taiwanese observer program. The items of study will include reproductive characteristic, spawning season and relevant analyses for reproductive biology based on the information combined from histological analysis and capture data. Furthermore, this study will explore the relationship between gonad development and body size, sex and spatiotemporal distribution for southern bluefin tuna. The results of this study may be submitted to CCSBT ESC.
