The sub topics of the study are as follow: (1) Investigation on the Exhaust Emissions of Powered Fishing Vessels in Northern Taiwan; (2) Investigation and Appraisal of Marine Engine Exhaust Gas on Deep-sea Fishing Vessels in Southern Taiwan; (3) The Impact of Global Climate Change on Distant Water Fisheries of Taiwan -- Tuna Fisheries in the Western Center Pacific Ocean; (4) The Impact of Global Climate Change on Coastal and Offshore Fisheries of Taiwan; and (5) Study on the Effects of Climate Change on Fisheries -- The Effects of Acid Rain on Aquaculture.
