Description

Abstract
Mobile computing has been one of the most fast growing areas recently. It provides a computing environment with the following three properties: wirelessness, mobility and portability. This new type of computing has great influence on database applications. In this project, we propose the MoSQL query language. It is an extension of the standard SQL language, and especially designed to cope with the user's requirement for a mobile information system. A graphical user interface is also presented. We apply our result to build a police information system in a mobile environment.
