Description

Abstract
本計畫研究目的將提出一種基於經驗模態分解(EMD)的新方法來生成非平穩時間序列,計畫中將針對西太平洋[110∘E~170∘E]及[5∘N~25∘N]區域內之日海面溫度進行EMD分析及合成,並將其應用於颱風數量的估算,以達到本計畫之研究目標。希望本計畫研究成果最終能驗證出此合成方法具體可行,解決目前水文模式無法繁衍非穩態水文序列之瓶頸。另外,海溫序列的繁衍除了應用於颱風次數的預報外,將來亦可應用於聖嬰現象之預報研究。
