相關研究指出認知能力影響駕駛者的駕駛能力，本計畫將利用公路總局發展的機車危險感知教育平台與路徑描繪測驗結果，找出高齡機車騎士的危險感知與認知能力，建立高齡機車騎士的駕駛適性評估準則。預期得到之研究成果包括：1. 檢討路徑描繪測驗應用於量測高齡機車騎士認知能力的設計。2. 探討危險感知與認知能力之影響因素。3. 建立受測者基本特性與危險感知能力、認知能力間之關係模式，建立高齡機車騎士駕駛適性的評估準則與具體作法。
