The promotion of national nutrition is an indicator of a country's national strength, and it is also related to personal health and quality of life. Therefore, this department promotes the rationalization of personal nutrition, focusing on a balanced diet to prevent diseases, rather than using medicine to treat diseases. This is in line with the concept of modern medicine - prevention is better than cure. Events In response to the demand for health and nutrition in modern society, the Department of Nutrition was established in the 1989 academic year, and the Institute of Nutrition was established in the 1990 academic year. In 2003, it was renamed the Master's Program of the Department of Nutrition, and the Doctoral Program was established in the 2009 academic year. It was incorporated into the College of Biopharmaceuticals and Food Sciences in the first semester of the 2015 academic year.
