Biotechnology has been regarded as one of the most promising technologies in the 21st century. In order to meet the trend of the world’s technology development and the need of biotech related industries, the Department of Biological Science and Technology (DBST) was founded in 2004. At present, we offer a four-year and a two-year certificate undergraduate program, as well as a graduate school that began in 2008.
