The leisure and tourism industry is the industry with the most potential and vitality today. The manpower demand of the leisure-related industries in the future cannot be delayed in terms of quantity or quality. To cater to this development trend, this department aims to cultivate forward-looking, internationally-minded leisure professionals. The department currently has 12 full-time teachers, including 6 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 3 assistant professor-level professional technicians; there are also many part-time teachers with rich practical experience. According to the development trend of the leisure industry and the needs of the student employment market, the curriculum planning is divided into “Sightseeing and Tourism Courses” and “Leisure and Recreation Courses”. The core courses of each course cover the connotation of employment-related professional license examinations, which is beneficial for students to obtain licenses. And cooperate with the industry internship of at least half a year in the senior year to achieve a seamless connection with the last mile. With a strong lineup of teachers, complete curriculum planning, and abundant professional learning equipment, the department is convinced that it will inject a new blood wheel into my country’s leisure and tourism industry.
