Hormone treatment is an important and necessary step in the induced breeding of grey mullet. A histological study was made of the grey mullet gonad in relation to hormone treatment. It was found that hormone treatment usually had a favorable effect in inducing the maturation of females. No significant histological change was found in the males, however, after hormone treatment.en_US
