dc.description.abstract為瞭解臺灣南部地區養鰻池中飼養之大型鰻魚之生殖腺發育情形,此次共測量並解剖大型鰻魚十一尾,結果六尾為雌鰻,五尾為雄鰻,雌鰻之體長和體重均比雄鰻者較長且較重。 六尾雌鰻之卵巢卵均為具有卵黄之卵母細胞(Yolky oocytes),且發育最成熟者已達卵黄泡期(Yolk vesicle stage)和早期之第一卵黄球期(Primary yolk globule stage)。卵巢於七~八月間開始成熟,十二月~二月間達發育之最高峯,三~四月間逐漸萎縮退化。 五尾雄鰻雖屬同一年齡,但精巢成熟度却不相同,其中三尾之精巢屬於增殖期(Multiplication stage),一尾為早期精母細胞期(Early spermatocyte stage),另一尾最成熟者已達精子成熟期(Ripe stage)。en_US
