dc.description.abstract本研究敘述非洲產淡水長臂蝦 ( Macrobrachium vollenhovenii )在非洲內陸國一中非共和國,以人工方式繁殖蝦苗成功的經過。此蝦的領域性極強,種蝦培育時的雌、雄性比應維持在4~5:1,如此方能避免種蝦之間產生自殘行為。此蝦蝦苗需在半淡鹹水中才能存活及變態,而由非洲取得的粗鹽並不適合此蝦的人工繁殖,必須使用人工海鹽才能突破此蝦蝦苗初期無法變態的瓶頸。在水溫26~28℃ 下,蝦苗需要經過十五次的脫殼才能變態成生活在淡水中的後期蝦苗,所需的變態時間前後計54~59天。 此蝦的食性與秦國淡水蝦(M. rosenberrgii)稍有不同,初期幼苗必須投飼人工培養的藻類,中期之後才能投飼動物性浮游生物,後期可投餵魚、蝦或淡水螺的碎肉。en_US
