Abstract:
A rotor position estimation method is provided which is suitable for estimating a rotor position of an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor. The estimation method includes: reading a first phase current and a second phase current of a stator under a four-switch three-phase inverter; calculating a three-phase current variation rate according to the first phase current and the second phase current; and using deviations of the three-phase current variations to process a matrix calculation, so as to estimate the rotor position. The method has successfully reduced six-switch to four-switch for estimating rotor position and even for rotor speed, which is obtained from rotor position with difference operating. The present invention is suitable for medium speed operation or low speed operation of the motor to estimate the rotor position.
