支援SQL與ＸQuery之雙向查詢句轉換系統

Abstract

由於電子商務及數位內容產業的蓬勃發展， 延伸式標記語言 XML 已被提出來且發展為資料 交換的標準。但是另ㄧ方面，關聯式資料庫已經 是相當成熟的技術，也被廣為使用。所以，如何 提供關聯式與 XML 格式的資料共享，已經成為 重要的研究議題。在本論文中，我們提出一個雙 向查詢句轉換系統，使用者可方便地依不同類型 定義來下達查詢句，而系統可將該查詢句轉換成 合適的表示式，到不同的資料來源取出資料，供 使用者之用。我們設計了數個對應表格來記錄關 聯式綱要和 XML 綱要之間的資料內容、集合與 結構的多元對應關係，並設計一系列的演算法， 依據對應表格所提供的資訊來進行查詢句轉換。 實驗證明，我們提出的對應表格與轉換系統，可 以有效率地轉換出正確的查詢句。Due to the development of electronic commerce, extensible markup language (XML) has recently emerged as the standard of data exchange. However, on the other hand, the technologies of the relational database is relatively mature and have been widely used. Therefore, how to provide the sharing of data between relational format and XML format, has become an important research topic. In this paper, we propose a bi-directional query translation system, which can convert queries into the appropriate expressions to get the required information from different sources. We have designed a set of mapping tables to record the complex mappings among attributes, collections and structural conflicts, and have designed a series of algorithms according to the mapping tables to transform the query statement. Experimental results show that our mapping tables and translation system can produce correct queries effectively.
