The SEC, promoting economic internationalization and liberalization policies, is gradually revising the operational strategies and operational directions of each member enterprise. On the one hand, the SEC is working vigorously to reorganize commercial operation structures, promote commercial management systems, and delegate more authority to each member enterprise so as to realize centralization of operational authority. On the other hand, the SEC is vigorously pushing ahead with plans for privatization of each enterprise. In order to revise the economic infrastructure , the SEC has begun to implement an economic revitalization program. Apart from its active promotion of open competition and increased industrial development, the SEC provides assistance to each enterprise to make efficient use of land resources, open foreign investment channels, and extend fields of operation. Additionally, in coordination with ROC government environmental policies, the SEC is strengthening EP measures and local environmental issue management in each enterprise sector. True success results from open competition. We are deeply convinced that the future will only be hopeful if enterprises are run in a selfless and broad-minded spirit. “Vision, Efficiency, Service” will be our greatest driving force to move forward with the nation, pursuing excellence as we march into the new millennium.
