Social and Family Affairs Administration (SFAA), Ministry of Health and Welfare was established on July 23, 2013. The primary focus of SFAA is to formulate and promote policies and services in relating to the welfare of senior citizens, people with disabilities, women, child and youth, and to provide family support. Formulating social welfare policy proactively and diffusing services through a broad range of delivery network. 2. Creating a friendly environment for raising children and protecting rights and well-being of child and youth. 3. Building mechanisms to empower women and advocating gender equality and opportunities for women’s development. 4. Enhancing the capacities of the elderly care and supporting healthy and dignified living for the aging population. 5. Promoting the multiple-choice service model and fostering the independence of people with disabilities. 6. Improving the family support system and encouraging the capacities of family care.
