本計畫為Wu et al. (2016, Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements 68: 124–134) 論文之延伸，而該論文則為科技部計畫「以有限配點之無網格方法建立河川水動力學數值模式」 (102-2221-E-002-155-)之成果。由於該計畫之主持人台大土木系蔡丁貴教授已退休，原研究團隊人馬亦各分東西，而其實此模式仍有一些值得進一步發展與應用之處，身為該計畫的共同主持人，且為此模式之發展者，只好承此大任，完成恩師在學術界未竟之夢想。故此計畫將由嘉義大學執行。這個模式是求解二維淺水波方程式的無網格模式，所應用的無網格法是局部多項式最小二乘權重近似。在本計畫中，我們將針對這個模式的一些功能與特性做進一步的分析與探討，然後將對這個模式的一些功能上的限制做一些擴充和改進，最後則進行一些實例的應用。此計畫將分三年執行，預計要進行的項目如下：第一年： (1) 模式對於乾濕處理之效能與質量守恆分析 (2) 計算域被構造物分成好幾區時之處理方式第二年： (3) 流速計算結果準確性之探討。 (4) 侷限水域遇地震時，水域內之水如何盪漾。第三年： (5) 台灣東部海域之離島在洋流作用下，下游處之渦漩特性。 (6) 加入底床急速變形變動，讓模式能模擬海底地層斷裂或崩移所產生之水面波。 This 3-year project is the extension of Wu et al. (2016, Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements 68: 124–134) which is the result of MOST project (102-2221-E-002-155-). Because there are some further research topics worthy to carry on and due to the retirement of Prof. Ting-Kuei Tsay (the PI of that project), the Co-PI of that project takes this task to honor his beloved professor. So, this projected will be conducted in National Chiayi University. The model was developed with a meshless method which uses the local polynomial Weighted Least Square (WLS) approach, and it is a model for large scale hydrodynamics simulation, which is governed by the shallow water equations. In the first year, we will do some further analysis and investigation on the capability of this model. In the second year, we will do some modification to make the model more applicable. In the third year, we will apply the model to some practical problems. Listed are items we are going to carry out. The first year (1) Investigate and analyze the efficiency of drying-wetting switch and mass conservation (2) Find a solution for problems when the domain is partitioned by structures The second year (3) Investigate the accuracy of the calculated flow velocity (4) Modify the model so it can deal with the sieche problems excited by seismic The third year (5) The vortex shed behind an isolate island in the stream of ocean current (6) Make the model capable to simulate water waves caused by submerged faults or landslides
