Description

Abstract
氣喘是一種慢性發炎及過敏疾病,隨著全球工業化及飲食西化影響,造成罹患氣喘及過敏性疾病的人數急遽上升,目前全世界約有3億人罹患氣喘。台灣隨著全球工業化及三大火力發電廠興建緣故,氣喘的病人也逐年增加。近年來,長期使用氣喘藥物會造成心悸、手抖等副作用,因此開發有效預防氣喘的保健品或藥物是迫切議題。本計畫在探討石蓴水萃物與胚芽乳酸桿菌對於氣喘造成之呼吸道發炎及過敏相關症狀是否具保護效果,及其萃取物是否藉由調節免疫路徑,達到降低小鼠上呼吸道組織中ROS、發炎及其Th1/Th2細胞失衡的過敏反應,以作為預防氣喘保健食品及藥物開發之應用。故計劃具有必要性、學術價值及產業發展性。
