The purpose of this study was to investigate the TLm values of Neomycin, Streptomycin,
Oxytetracycline and Chlortetracycline for postlarvae of Penaeus monodon, P.
japonicus, P. semisulcatus, P. penicillatus, Metapenaeus ensis and Macrobrachium rosenbergii
following administration by dipping for 24 hours. The results were calculated with the
Van der Waerden method as follows: The TLm values of Neomycin for postlarvae of the
prawn in the above order were 8,381 , 10,324, 5,205, 8,436, 19,963 and 18,631 ppm. The TLm
values of Streptomycin for postlarvae of the prawn in the above order were 4,884, 6,616,
9,813, 6,635, 17,173 and 6,325 ppm. The TLm values of oxytetracycline for postlarvae of
the prawn in the above order were 954, 936, 908, 916, 1,397 and 1,250 ppm. The TLm
values of Chlortetracycline for postlarvae of the prawn in the above order were 559,
538, 753, 377, 64 and 1,097 ppm.
