The mission of the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering is to provide a quality education, to conduct distinctive research programs, to maintain a close partnership with industry, and to provide related service to the community. Recent development of the department focuses on the fields of mechatronics, automation technology, precision engineering, and nano/micro system by integrating electronic, information, computer, electrical, photonic and control technologies.
