The main research topics of CEOE consist of development of offshore wind and ocean energy and river and coastal disaster prevention. Five research groups including offshore wind and ocean energy, river and coastal disaster prevention, AI applications, basic researches, international and industrial affairs were well organized. The important experimental facilities include irregular wave basin, large cavitation tunnel, and high-performance computers to conduct ocean engineering and disaster prevention studies.
