TRSC was privatized from Machinery Plant of Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd. on Oct. 16th, 2002, and incorporated by Tang Eng, China Steel, Nippon Sharyo, and Sumitomo. TRSC is the first one rolling stock manufacturer with complete capability of design, manufacture, and assembly in Taiwan. TRSC has experiences and capability of design and manufacture of EMU (electric multiple unit), DMU (diesel multiple unit), passenger coaches, DHL (diesel hydraulic locomotive), LRV, freight wagons, etc. Its products are generally adopted by railway companies in Taiwan. In the future, TRSC will keep supplying superior rolling stocks and providing productions and service that satisfy both the customers and the passengers.
