In order to cooperate with the government on boosting the development of offshore wind power industry, and to support the government policy on localization of industries, China Steel Corporation (below as CSC) has invested and founded Sing Da Marine Structure Corporation (below as SDMS) on 19 April 2018 with the capital of NT$3.421 billion. SDMS invests in building the offshore wind power jacket foundation production line in the Kaohsiung Marine Technology Industrial Innovation Zone, Singda Harbor. The size of the plant base is about 27 hectares. The investment has carried out our commitment to support the government policy on localization of offshore wind power foundation production.
